8th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME – C

Sign of the Cross

Greeting

May the Lord be with you.

Introduction  and  Litany of Praise

We cannot lead others when we ourselves are blind.

And all of us can be blind to our own faults and failings.

Let us now ask the Lord to take away anything that blocks our vision…. from seeing ourselves as we really are.  (Pause)

Lord, you open the eyes of the blind.

Lord, have mercy.

Lord Jesus, you know what is in our hearts… the good and the evil:

Christ, have mercy.

Lord, you have come to bring us life, life in abundance.

Lord, have mercy.

May Almighty God…..
